What is Relevé?
Relevé is a dynamic, adaptable strength and conditioning system designed for individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels. Blending elements of bodybuilding, Pilates, yoga, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and classical dance, Relevé builds strength, mobility, and athleticism in a progressive, structured format. Relevé is more than just a fitness program — it’s a method of movement mastery, empowering you to move with strength, grace, and purpose.
Take the guesswork out of your fitness journey
The Relevé system makes workouts accessible and easy to learn by assessing and developing five key areas of fitness: balance, flexibility, strength, endurance, and posture. It can be learned individually with one-on-one personal training, through online coaching, or through self-study (coming soon).

How it works
Step 1: Intake & Assessment
First, we’ll chat one on one to discuss your needs and goals. We’ll then perform a comprehensive fitness assessment that measures your mobility, balance, stabilization, strength, and athletic power. Your assessment, along with your goals, illuminates the path forward.
Step 2: Build your foundation
The Relevé Fitness system is meant not only to be followed, but to be learned. The early phases of training are about developing balance, stabilization, flexibility, as well as mastering safe and effective form so when you are ready to push yourself to the limit, your body is up to the task.
Step 3: Hone Your Training
Develop functional strength with compound strength-training movements, sculpt with bodybuilding-specific techniques, and integrate movements from ballet, pilates, and yoga that challenge strength, balance, and flexibility together.
Step 4: Specialization
What kind of movement speaks to you? Relevé rejects a narrow definition of “fitness” — the kind associated with chemically enhanced bodies and unrealistic proportions. Relevé is a celebration of movement. However you want to excel, Relevé can build and refine your body into an instrument of movement mastery.
Meet the founder
Over the past two decades as a personal trainer, I’ve had the privilege of helping people from all walks of life overcome obstacles and reach their fitness goals. From coaching USPA powerlifters at the national level to training under renown Olympic weightlifting coach Max Aita, studying ballet at the Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education, and collaborating with experts in yoga, Pilates, and Russian-style kettlebell training, I’ve built a diverse foundation rooted in curiosity, discipline, and a love of movement.
What I’ve learned through experience is that most people silo themselves into one method of training. My powerlifters didn’t see the value in flexibility or endurance, and my yoga practitioners hesitated to get under a barbell. We often cling to what feels familiar — but that comfort can become a ceiling.
Relevé is the result of everything I’ve learned — a comprehensive, integrative training system built to expand that ceiling. Drawing from ballet, it improves posture, balance, and movement awareness. From yoga and Pilates, it builds flexibility, core control, and breathwork. And from strength sports, it develops power, resilience, and physical confidence.
But Relevé is more than a fusion — it’s a method. Through structured assessment and progressive phases, it adapts to your needs and evolves with you. Whether you’re a beginner, an athlete, or an adaptive individual with unique physical challenges, Relevé meets you where you are — and helps you rise.
I couldn’t be prouder of this system, and I can’t wait for you to experience how transformative true movement mastery can be.
— Michael

FAQs
Do I need experience?
No. Your intake and assessment will provide the roadmap for your personalized program. Relevé tests aptitude in multiple areas of fitness, and it is likely that it will, by design, find areas of weakness as well as areas of strength. Every journey starts with a first step!
Do you teach ballet technique?
The ballet elements integrated into Relevé are intended for strength, conditioning, flexibility, and balance; accordingly, some technical elements are necessary for safe, effective performance. It is not, however, focused on the minutiae of technique; it is not dance instruction, and no experience in dance is required.
Why learn these techniques?
Many of us go through our lives without any idea of how much better we could feel, and how much more we could be capable of, if we expanded our horizons of fitness. Fitness isn’t just about going to the gym; it’s about caring for our bodies and discovering its capabilities. Strength athletes benefit immensely from the balance, core strength, and flexibility developed through Relevé; yoga enthusiasts will reap tremendous rewards from intelligently integrated barbell training. Our remarkable bodies are capable of so much, so why not explore new types of challenging movements?
Can I do Relevé from home?
There are many workouts and exercise in Relevé that can be performed with little to no equipment. However, many of the strength training movements require access to free weights. If you train from a home gym, you will need a barbell set with weights, a squat rack, a deadlift platform, and a flat bench. A barre, yoga mat, foam roller, and yoga blocks are helpful as well.
